Description

Comprises heat shrink tubing lined with heat glue that is fitted with a central ring of solder which melts at a relatively low temperature.

Insert wires and apply a heat gun to melt solder and heat shrink to secure a connection in one quick action.

For best results use a flameless heat gun capable of 450°C or more (or wave a blow torch/lighter over the tubing). Heat will need to be applied long enough to allow the solder to liquify and flow inside whilst the outer tubing shrinks over the join.

It's important to get even heat across the join, so be sure to rotate the join over the heat source, focusing mainly on the join itself and working outward to shrink the tubing around the cabling itself.
